Creating a Safe, Respectful and Inclusive Campus Environment
The Anti-Ragging Cell is established to ensure a safe, secure, and positive learning environment for all students. The cell works towards preventing and eliminating any form of ragging, harassment, intimidation, or misconduct within the institution. It promotes awareness among students about the importance of mutual respect, discipline, and responsible behavior.
The institution follows a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging and is committed to protecting the dignity, safety, and well-being of every student. The Anti-Ragging Cell functions in accordance with the guidelines issued by the regulatory authorities to maintain a healthy academic atmosphere.
Objectives of Anti-Ragging Cell
• To prevent incidents of ragging within and around the campus.
• To create awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging.
• To promote a culture of respect, equality, and friendship among students.
• To provide a safe platform for students to report any concerns related to ragging.
• To ensure immediate action and support in case of any reported incidents.

Role and Responsibilities
- Awareness Programmes:
The cell conducts regular awareness programmes, orientation sessions, and interactive activities to educate students about anti-ragging rules, regulations, and consequences. - Monitoring and Prevention:
The committee continuously monitors campus activities, student interactions, and ensures preventive measures are followed to avoid any unpleasant incidents. - Complaint Handling Mechanism:
Students can approach the Anti-Ragging Cell to report any form of ragging or harassment. All complaints are handled confidentially, and necessary action is taken as per institutional policies and legal guidelines. - Student Support System:
The cell provides guidance and support to students, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their academic journey.
Zero Tolerance Policy Against Ragging
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside the campus, hostels, classrooms, transportation facilities, or any institution-related activities. Any student found involved in ragging activities will face strict disciplinary action as per applicable rules and regulations.
